Congress Centre Prague was originally the Palace of culture is a large neo-functionalistic building in Prague 4-Nusle. The construction of the building was started in 1976 and was completed in 1981. At present, the extensive reconstruction has been completed of the whole complex to meet the demands of the modern Congress Centre.

It is located on the edge of the Nusle Valley and Pankrác Plains between the Nuselský Bridge and Pankrác square, next to the Metro station Vysehrad (C). This position allows magnificent views from KC on the part of the Nusle Valley and panorama of Prague.

It is the largest Convention Center in the Czech Republic. The building also adjoins the hotel Holiday Inn and Business Centre Vyšehrad. 

There are up to 70 different sized rooms with capacity for a total of 9300 people in more than 50 halls, lounges and meeting rooms; the largest of them, Congress Hall, accommodates 2 764 people. The acoustics of the Conference Hall includes according to experts one of the best in the world (13rd in the order). Commonly there are concerts, dances, meetings, and other cultural events. Its advantages include among others unique views over the Vltava River on the panorama of the Prague Castle.
