Mission of the Prague Congress Centre is to create a great place for joy from inspiration and also a modern and friendly place for inspiring scientific, medical, commercial and political meetings that will help new projects for a better world. At the PCC steps towards a better future are taken. Being the largest congress centre in the Czech Republic, the PCC feels responsible for the environment and therefore uses energy from renewable sources. It will continue to transform into a modern, efficient, pleasant, socially responsible and technologically advanced company with first-class services and an eco-friendly operation also in the upcoming years.

The building was opened in 1981 on one of the most attractive plots of Prague. With a breathtaking view of Prague Castle, the symbol of the Czech dignity, the location in the centre of the city is still less than 30 minutes from the airport, giving the building exquisite status. Built with the best available materials and a generous approach, the building is full of artistic glass chandeliers, oil and graphic paintings and tapestries. Most of the art has been preserved and the visitors of the Prague Congress Centre can not only enjoy the variability of the space of 20 conference halls and 50 meeting rooms but also admire art pieces by world-renowned Czech glass artists and painters.

An extensive park complex of Vyšehrad is also located in the immediate vicinity. This park is often an ideal place of rest and relaxation for the participants of events and visitors of the Prague Congress Centre which is directly next to the Vyšehrad station of metro line C. The congress centre itself offers a lot of public services.

Did you know that the PCC strives for sustainable operation?

Annually saving 11 533m3 of water (3 Olympic pools), 9 740 945 kWh of energy (consumption of 5019 households) and 726 tons of CO2 that would take one year for 33 456 trees to absorb, the PCC follows a sustainable path. With the available digital navigation system with over 190 flat screens and mobile application for inhouse navigation the use of paper can be eliminated to a large degree. Also using energy-saving LED lights helps in the overall energy saving concept. The Prague Congress Centre offers a sustainable catering solution based mainly on local seasonal products eliminating logistics and carbon footprint as well as avoiding plastic diner ware and excess food thanks to careful planning with the organizer.
