ECSS Sevilla 2020 offers you several travel grant options to apply for. Please see the list below and choose the one that suits you best.

ECSS Travel Grant

This is a general travel grant independent of participation in the ECSS YIA competition.

There are three ECSS Travel Grants distributed for ECSS Sevilla 2020; 500€ each.

ECSS Travel Grant applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • The applicant has successfully submitted an abstract for presentation at the 25th Annual Congress of ECSS Sevilla 2020.
  • The applicant is affiliated with a university that appears on the DAC List of ODA Recipients.
  • The applicant has sent the ECSS Travel Grant Application Form to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., prior to 1 February 2020.

Please note that there is no age limit for this travel grant.

YIA Travel Grant

When participating in the ECSS YIA competition you have the opportunity to apply for the YIA Travel Grant within the process.

For ECSS Sevilla 2020 a maximum of four YIA Travel Grants are available; 500€ each.

Within the YIA application process the applicants* may apply for one of the four YIA Travel Grants. To successfully apply please click 'YES' for YIA Travel Grant when filling out your abstract submission form.

*Only applicable to these countries.

1 December 2019: Opening abstract submission and registration. 1 February 2020: Deadline for abstract submission (There will be no deadline extension).
To register for the 25th annual congress of the ECSS, you will be asked to enter your existing or create a new ECSS account.
Abstract submission closes on 1 February 2020, 11:59 Central European Time (CET). Please note: there will be no deadline extension. Abstract submission is free of charge.
